on a kokka island

teal orchid + orange fern

spent today hopping around my favorite online craft shops for my latest decor project and discovered this lovely pattern while browsing the virtual fabric stacks at purl. it's imported from japan's kokka fabrics and the breezy cotton/linen mix is appropriately named island.

i am loving the modern pop of color on the hawaiian quilt motif. both designs are stocked in neutral and contemporary colorways and are worthy contenders for upcoming crafty projects.

happy crafting!

I just wanted to leave a note to tell you that although I'm not much of a crafter, I was totally inspired by the fabrics you wrote about. I bought some of the green fern fabric at Purl, and now it's art in my living room! I posted about it in my blog, if you want to see a picture. But anyway, I just wanted to say Mahalo for the tip and the inspiration!
