this month's first friday highlights taking place around the chinatown arts district:

  • ccdoodle will be among the indie vendors (including lala b and huluwuwu) selling their wares at the bohemian night market setting up at the chinatown courtyard. (5p to 10p; 1126 smith street).
  • chinatown boardroom debuts revenge of the killer ants, part v, edible sustainable mixed media art by otto, aka honolulu's king of cheesecake. (1160 nu'uanu avenue)

spend the day at the queen emma summer palace and scoop up new loveliness from kealopiko while enjoying hawaiian music, keiki fun, and 'ono delights.

happy birthday to split obsession which is celebrating the fourth year of its koko marina shop with a storewide 15% discount.

on maui, the downtown wailuku first friday block party returns complete with local eats, music, and a 20% storewide discount at maui thing.
