bunny love

my favorite part of easter growing up was the little chocolate bunny tucked into my easter basket . . . although i always felt a bit guilty when it came time to say goodbye to its sweet little face. happily, no such dilemma presents itself with toast's newest creation - the delightful cotton tail which features a custom printed handkerchief that has been magically coaxed into a bunny shape with perfectly placed twists and ties.

hidden inside the bunny's belly are a mix of chocolate confections in the form of kit-kats, mini cadbury eggs and reese's pieces (yum!). as an added bonus, once your sweet tooth is satisfied the hanky remains as a cheerful reminder of your little buddy.

toast's charming cotton tails are available in three hues of bunny pink and can be ordered in the online shop or scooped up at toast's studio:

p.s. toast recently debuted an in-store mini pop bar where you can mix and match sweet and savory bottles and scoop up preprinted labels whenever you require just a handful of favor fun.

toast-y deal

the facebook and twitter peeps already got word of the original deal a few days ago, however jeremy from toast kindly extended their fabulous after-christmas sale so more oahu readers could scoop up half-price cheers! and woodland warriors holiday gift sets plus knock $2 off mini pop bar bottles (while supplies last, natch).

coupon may be redeemed in-store only and you must mention h|h when you flash your coupon at the register so the toast peeps know you are on the up and up and not a shady rule breaker who disregards the fine print.

  • click on the image to download and print coupon

  • where: 3434 waialae avenue, suite 3, kaimuki

a handmade holiday

partridge in a pear ornament + ginko song wine pocket

it's been a bit too long since the last etsy day post, and, while scouting for holiday goodness, i discovered that space moderne recently re-opened its etsy shop after a long hiatus. lucky for us, momi, the baltimore-based designer behind all this felted loveliness, has introduced a handful of new designs and stocked the shop with past favorites just in time for the holidays!

our space is too small to squeeze in a xmas tree but the handmade ornaments would certainly add a modern bit of indie cheer to your holiday decor whether you will be gathering round a towering pine or opt to hang a simple, festive garland.

wine pockets made to be gifted (and re-gifted), playful ipod cases, and whimsical vases complete the collection.

mod dot indie trees

scully bird clutch

bubble ball ornaments

almost all of the featured designs are currently stocked in limited quantities in the space moderne etsy shop so do hele over asap to scoop up your favorites in time to enjoy them this holiday season. (the exception is the delightfully wintry bubble balls which are from last season so if you covet a set do convo momi to see if she has any hiding in her stash)

p.s. readers near baltimore have a chance to say hello in person over the next two weekends when space moderne hits the local indie craft show circuit. click over to the etsy shop for all the details.

and the winner is . . .

laura from honolulu who found out on friday that a toast woodland warriors gift set is all hers!

many mahalos to all the oahu readers who sent along holiday wishes with their entries! toast's take on the iconic tiki can be found at their kaimuki studio where you will want to hele asap for first dibs on half-priced stocking stuffers in the brand new bargain bin (fyi: in-store only).

congratulations, laura!

{mahalos to jeremy & michelle of toast for hosting another delightful reader giveaway!}
