paper peeks: hour of nine

liliha * napoleon

while catching up with the summer arrivals by hour of nine, the letterpress studio of nyc-based designer lehua chong, a trio of new notecard collections was waiting to charm me. this time around the pretty patterns are distilled from wooden tiki carvings, a circle island tour of oahu's sunny beaches, and the cheeky cult flick heathers.

how very!

{and so so timely since there are whispers of my most beloved and watched movie during high school possibly getting a reboot on bravo next year . . . shudder.}

shall we have a peek?

summertime stationery giveaway

aloha friends! alas, back to back family emergencies have pulled me away for the past few weeks, but i wanted to pop in to announce a small summer giveaway.

my mister and i have had two reminders in less than a month's time about how suddenly and unexpectedly loved ones can be lost, and, since we will always have regrets about a missed visit or phone call, i would love to share a trio of letterpress note cards so one lucky reader can fill a few favorite mailboxes with postal cheer.

because sometimes a handwritten note to say hello can be the sweetest way to send a smile to faraway family and friends . . . and letterpress goodness by hour of nine, joie studio (featuring a shop toast design) & miemiko atelier make for even more delightful tidings.

more details on how to enter after the jump.

long distance love

while savoring my occasional dose of paper goodness the other day, i tardily discovered the visit hawaii invitation suite by sf's hello!lucky. with so many destination i do's being exchanged in the islands, the retro fabulous design by lab partners captures a hint of aloha with swaying palm trees, surfer sweeties, and a backdrop reminiscent of diamond head to woo family and friends across the pacific.

even nicer, the collection is offered in three tropical inks (papaya, pool or tangerine with additional hues available upon request), and cards can be digitally printed or letterpressed depending on your budget.

be sure to peek the coordinating paper pretties from the vintage postcard inspired save the date to the message in a bottle motif for your rsvp's.
